 My
Fascination with, and love for my own pets and all animals has
been an intense interest in my life.
As a young girl in love
with horses, I was constantly drawing them. Later, I drew my pets
and all forms of wild life. At art school, it was the human sort
of animal on which I concentrated, with years of life drawing.
I received my Bachelor of
Fine Arts in painting and drawing from the School of Visual Arts
in N.Y.C., and later a post baccalaureate in art education. I
have also studied at the Art Students League, Parsons School of
Design, The New School, and the San Francisco Art Institute.
Over the years I have done
a wide variety of art related work, most recently in the form
of decorative painting, faux finishing and murals.
I have always felt a special
love and connection to animals and it is a great pleasure to express
that love through my artwork.
Through the medium of PetPortaits, I can share
my love of animals and the art that comes from that love, with
many pet owners.
